Basement??? Am I supposed to get on here daily arguing about Floyd and Manny when there's no boxing going on? Am I supposed to get on here daily arguing about GGG and Kovalev when there's no boxing going on? Boxing isn't even my favorite sport (even though it's a close second.) I'm from the South and its SEC football season boi. I talk boxing when there's boxing to talk about, or an article that moves me to comment.

Love GGG but yeah Kovalev would be too big and powerful for GGG.

Seriously this is one of the most ridiculous questions/topics to bring up and ask to any fighters camp/the boxing public in the last few years. It's like that "throw **** on the wall and it'll stick" saying or whatever, they must of been desperate for attention and thinking of the craziest crap they could come up with. LikeTMZ or something..... Lame

This isn't a video game, and if that reporter wasn't with TMZ..... I reckon he should probably learn about his job and understand that. Just cause Hopkins and some other guys moved up 3 divisions before doesn't mean everyone can or has to, not even including other factors like body types/frame and factoring unfinished business in respective divisions, etc
So Floyd, a cat that started his career at 130, and who's chronological timeline as far as age and weight lines up pretty much identical to Manny's should "man up" in his late 30s and fight GGG. But GGG, a career middleweight, who has been fighting in the division for a decade+, shouldn't man up and fight the best light heavy, or even best super middleweight on the planet. That's sound logic by boxingscene standards doe.

I'll say it again here: folks, do you think that those Russians took all that long trip to the U.S. just to slaughter one another? They could have done it in Siberia in case they wanted to... How ****** some people can be?

Some may imagine a GGG fight as a "final retribution" for Floyd.
Folks, the retribution comes in the afterlife.

If he handles Golovkin easily, he gets no points for beating a much smaller fighter. Golovkin has to address the challenge Andre Ward has laid out at 168. Not only has Ward challenged him but that fight makes sense and is a very real threat for Golovkin.
Andre Ward's challenges should not be taken seriously.
