Brilliant post & so true! I slways liked briggs but where was this dedication in his prime years? I do find the videos amusing but after the loss to ibragimov & the beating from vitali it's hard to consider him a threat. All he has to do is beat a guy like leapai, mormeck, malik scott or wach & he'd get his shot...

            Sums up my thoughts exactly.

The beating this imbecile took has clearly impacted on him heavily.

I thought he had invested his money well and was making 25k a year without fighting ? Why would he want to fight another Klitschko again to sustain the injuries he did last time for the pittance he earned last time ?

This guy is a bigger moron than anyone gives him credit for,his promotional team pocketed the other 475k apparently.he was crying like a ***** at the time saying it was a travesty and miscarriage of justice, counter claiming in court trying to reclaim some of the money,to no avail I am led to believe.

If he could fight and defeat one fringe contender and one contender I would really be all for this fight, and I do not mean Audley Harrison and Serhei Liakhovich,I mean a Szpilka,Hammer,Charr or Ustinov and a European level guy like Chisora,Leapai and Price then I'd be all for it,you can't expect a title shot on the back of beating a frige contender or the tin cans Briggs has feasted on like they're the hottest new roids in town the clerk tells you are undetectable.

Right, because I'm sure there are a lot of shirtless roided up black guys running around that crowd. Who could it be???

                  No he doesn't.

Lepai was the mandatory, he can beat Lepai 1000x and he still won't be the mandatory challenged. Wlad fought Mormeck and Wach when every other top HW was ducking him. Literally guys like Fury, Povetkin and even Pulev were on record saying they're not ready for Wlad.

So with that said... Don't blame the champ for staying busy, tell the top fighters to MAN up (They finally are) Lame!

Wlad has bigger fish to fry, he's fighting the top 2 HWs not named Wlad in back-to-back fights with a mandatory in between, and he's chasing a unification with the WBC champ next year with probably a mandatory in between again.......

Sorry to burst your "I'm the HW boxing historian expert. Let me use my extensive boxing historian HW division knowledge to discredit Wlad every chance I can." Stay salty, because it's not happening

Pulev beats both of those guys (although he is also missing a definitive huge win) and Wlad is on his own level.
Wlad dismantles the division in its entirety,Stiverne,Fury,Briggs,Pulev etc.i am of the opinion Pulev and Povetkin are head and shoulders above the rest and Pulev takes care of Povetkin pretty handidly,I don't see the Russian posing him too many problems, guys like Adamek,Jennings and Fury steered well clear of Pulev for good reason.

what are you babbling about? i never discredited him at all here. deontay wilder beat malik scott & is next in line for the WBC title, alex leapai beat denis boytsov to get a mandatory shot. beating a former klitschko opponent is a pretty good way to get yourself in the thick of things. Im not a HW historian considering i've only watched the sport since 1989 & have never paid any attention to the eras prior to that. I posted fights & give my opinion. You can look at it any way you like.
