he stuck around with that on again, off again, hinting at a comeback stuff, but i never got the impression that he was broke.



crazy, but vargas was completely used up by his mid 20's. i was absolutely shocked to learn that he was only 36 years old. that's getting close to 15 years younger than poopkins.

vargas was a bad, bad fighter. bad dude in general. bad in a good way, of course. good skills, very good power. unfortunately for him, he ran into two genuine hall of famers in trinidad and de la hoya, and was pretty much done by the time he got to mosley.


it really is amazing to think that you can be all used up in your 20's in this game.
