Former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-1-1, 32KOs) is expecting big things in 2015, after signing a contract with influential manager Al Haymon. Chavez and Haymon are discussing his options for the new year.
Chavez reveals that Haymon is planning to make a fight for him in late January to mid-February. The Mexican boxer is looking at a title shot, with WBA/IBF champion Carl Froch and WBC champion Anthony Dirrell as his targets. Chavez wants to become the first Mexican fighter to win a super middleweight title. The third option, is a potential fight at 175-pounds with Andrzej Fonfara, who is also signed to Haymon.
