Different from all other documentaries really, and it has new stuff with audio tapes etc from Ali's personal collection. Really good. But also paints a very rosy picture.

It was solid. It focuses more on Ali as a person than a fighter. Alot of the stuff they said i knew but they wher more detailed about and some stuff i didnt know. Def different than other docs because it has first hand detailed accounts from ppl like his wife and has phone calls with his daughters too so it was cool.

Ive seen better ones tho about his career but im just a big ali fan.But if youre a boxing fan this is a must watch if you want to know more about him as a person

          Muhammad Ali had a boss.

At one point, Ali was promoted by Bob Arum. If Ali did not become a puppet for Top Rank with Arum as his boss, we probably would have seen the fantasy fight between Ali and Tyson

they need to do more documentaries on other fighters.

ali documentary is like another batman or xmen movie.

how about doing documentary's on fighters the mainstream havent heard about. Its not like ali is the only boxer in the world with an interesting life.

I have to be one of the few who doesn't like Ali. In my honest opinion one of the most overrated fighters in the history of the sport. Plus, I hate his style... he ran more than Mayweather and became brave once his opponent was dead tired. I just find his style very cowardly considering he was such a trash talker. So not interested at all in this. Tyson was a billion times the man and fighter than Ali ever was.

Nah a lot of people dislike him, but he's one of boxings windows into the American mainstream so you're supposed to be hush about it.

Everybody are entitled to their own opinion. Ali did some good, some bad. But there's no denying he had the biggest roller-coaster ride of a career of any boxer ever.

Cowardly is a word I'd be careful using around Ali. I mean this in the best possible way, but maybe you should educate yourself a little more on him. Read some books and watch more documentaries, you'll get to see him in a totally new light.

Such an ignorant and idiotic post. Not that I'd expect anything else from you.

Regardless, don't turn this thread into a like/dislike Ali thread.
