Comments Thread For: Mariusz Wach-Travis Walker Eyed For December 12th

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (28-1, 15 KOs) is slated to return to action on December 12th at a venue to be determined against Travis Walker (39-12-1, 31 KOs) in a ten round fight. Polsat Sport journalist Matthew Borek says Walker has already signed a contract for the fight. After a two year layoff, Wach returned less than a month ago to pick up a stay busy win. It was the first victory for Wach after losing a twelve round unanimous decision to WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 52 KOs) in 2012.

Walker is a solid gate keeper to the fringe contenders.it isn't the greatest fight but Wach will be looking to step it up next year, just look at the Charr blueprint from the last 12-18 months, stay busy taking a good number of fights then a huge cash fight against Povetkin.this time next year Wach could be a no.1 or 2 ranked contender if he faces and defeats Szpilka in another huge event in Krakow like last weekend.
