  • Comments Thread For: Pulev Upset Over Drug Testing Terms With Klitschko

Things continue to tense between the camps of Kubrat Pulev (20-0, 11 KOs) and WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (62-3, 52 KOs). The Bulgarian mandatory challenger was absent from Monday's final press conference, after members of his entourage were denied access. He also spent very little time at the open workouts on Wednesday, because Pulev claims he was given gloves that were too small.

Pulev is with Sauerland I believe. Sauerland put a programme in place where all their fighters are tested randomly year round or something.

Wladimir is with K2 where there is no such programme.

Surely Pulev should have negotiated this in the contract.

It seems extremely unlikely that one competitor would be randomly tested and the other one not tested at all unless it's a situation like limey diggler buttlicker described.

His entourage wasn't denied access. They were only supposed to go up to the press conference flanked by 2-3 team embers and Pulev demanded his entire team come along then stormed out when the organizer said no.

And why would he be supplied with faulty gloves for a media workout??

Pulev is just a big trouble making pervert
