If Algieri-Pacquiao is close, expect Chris to get the nod to set up a rematch next year (Bradley scenario all over again). If not, he'll fight Vargas followed by Ruslan in 2015. Meanwhile, Pacquiao and his promoter will insist that Floyd is scared and ducking, when they clearly have no intentions of fighting him and have Pacquiao's next 2-3 matches already set.

If Pacquiao and Vargas win their next fights, they are next for eachother. No if's, and's or but's. If Algieri beats Pacquiao, and Arum has no rights to Algieri's next fight, then we may see Mayweather vs Algieri. If Arum has rights to Algieri, then Mayweather will want nothing to do with putting money in Arum's pockets and instead we'll see another fight like Algieri vs Marquez/Bradley/Vargas.

Remember, before the Clottey fight was finalized, Margarito was interviewed and he said he was promised a Pacquiao fight for November 2010. Meanwhile, Arum had that phony countdown for Floyd to respond to fight Pacquiao in November 2010. They eat it up though.

I agree fight some young big welter or fight GGG. Really why do we always say Pac is way too small. I think we all hear Roach filling his head with that. I think we all know Manny carried that Margarito fight along time to avenge the mocking of Roach by Marg and Rios. Pac could have hit Margs 10 times before he got hit and spin out to beat him more.Pac could have went for the kill so much earlier. If you remember that one body shot from Pac almost crushed Margs. Pac will fight anyone. The problem is he has become a yes man . That crook Arum and Lackey Koncz are the problems. Listen If Roberto Duran could go up and fight Hagler in a competitive fight What makes you think Pac couldn't atleast return some serious fire back to GGG. Even Rosado was able to tag GGG.
