Kovalev is the best light heavyweight in the world. He will annihilate Pascal.

Hopefully the coward Stevenson grows some balls and stops ducking Kovalev.

If the fight happens, Kovalev will destroy Stevenson.

Reading Haymon has signed Beterbiev, so if Kova wins I guess Kova-Artur ain't gonna happen, never mind Kova-Stevenson.

I guess the one good thing is Sergey has almost all the belts, just got to get that last one.

I still think Kova - Artur will happen at some point, regardless of their respective promoters. Kova will want to avenge his loss in the amateurs. Artur would have to beat Kova to be the man of the division so I don't see him ducking Kova.

I'm eagerly anticipating Shabranskyy and Gvozdyk becoming contenders. They both have power, but are also both more intelligent boxers than Beterbiev.
Artur still hasn't put pen to paper with Haymon as far as I'm aware. Is he still with GYM? He should sign with a US promoter like Golden Boy, just like Lemieux did, he doesn't need Haymon or GYM.

              Kovalev by stoppage
Pascal is entertaining but his downfall will be his willingness to show how tough he is, he'll get found & hurt too easy

Eastern Europeans are dominating the light heavyweight division.

Kovalev is the best light heavyweight in the world.

Beterbiev is the 2nd best light heavyweight in the world.

The coward Stevenson went life and death with Fonfara.

Shabranskyy, Gvozdyk and Mekhontsev are elite great prospects.

They're still hashing out a deal. Got held up because the written contract didn't match the verbal contract evidently

I don't really think Beterbiev needs Haymon. This is his 175 crew:

                      Adonis Stevenson
                      Chad Dawson
                      Edwin Rodriguez
                      Andrzej Fonfara
                      Beibut Shumenov
                      Enrique Ornelas
                      Terrell Gausha
                      Marcus Browne
                      Thomas Williams Jr
                      Steve Lovett
                      Dauren Yeleussinov
                      Dennis Hasson
                      Eleider Alvarez

Stevenson, Shumenov and Dawson probably never fight Beterbiev, the rest aren't great.

Alvarez is a good opponent, Rodriguez isn't bad I suppose. I just don't think he needs to go there.
