Beterbiev whoops Kovalev just like how he did in the amateurs.

No power, no worries, Kovalev can blitz his opponent without consequence and they're too afraid to punch back because he's got so much power. His chin is suspect, KO'd in the amateurs, dropped by Boone, dropped by Cap, plus you can see he doesn't like getting punched, his head really snaps back.

I think his conditioning is suspect too, he sat back and boxed vs Hopkins, Hopkins rarely threw or clinched as well and getting hit zaps you of energy. He was breathing hard during the middle rounds. He rarely gets there.

These flaws will be amplified against Beterbiev, who has a very dangerous arsenal of punches, punches he can land without much trouble especially on the inside. Beterbiev was Kovalev's former teammate/sparring partner in the Olympics, he even beat him in the amateurs.
He didn't KO Kovalev in the amateurs. If you compare them now, Kovalev is the better boxer and Beterbiev can be outboxed but he's dangerous even so. It's an even fight for me with a lean towards Kovalev due to gaining more pro experience and having a better team behind him.

**** adonis stevenson piece of ****.
like mentioned by an earlier poster, i love how these guys are thrown straight to top boxers in very few fights.
if they got the talent, put em on stage. **** the filler/buildup fights.

LOL at this guy protecting stevenson from kovalev.

Stevenson has a belt and kovalev has 3. Why are you pushing a guy who only has 6 fights to fight the unified champ.

How bout grow a pair and put your more accomplished guy in there.

6 pro fights. 2 against someone with a winning record, 1 of them barely. People are in a serious hurry to see Kovalev lose if they're considering this dude as a legitimate title challenger. The Cloud win was impressive, but come on. Tavoris was coming off 2 straight losses, the most recent by stoppage. As if he was ever that good to begin with.

I know Stevenson is shook, but seriously?

I'd rather see Beterbiev take Aduckis' belt first, and then have him fight Kovalev. The fight would be even bigger in that case. Michel is too shook to put Stevenson in with either one right now though. Frog pussy.

Beterbiev dominated kovalev in the ammys. He's massive. he's from dagastan which is a place known for boxing olympians and he was a stand out.

The Jury's still out on Beterbiev. Korobov also beat Kovalev in the ams so that doesn't mean much to me.

Beterbiev vs Alvarez makes sense. Winner gets Kovalev, Stevenson or Pascal.
