I can really see this fight happening early 2015 and i would not be surprised if they stacked the card the same way they did with Khan-Alexander. GBP/Sho/Haymon ain't playin' son!

I dont care for it either, i dont see what people see in Peterson. He couldn't take Mathysse power, gets hit easily. Here we have Garcia who is similar to Mathysse, power in both hands. Peterson doesn't have the power either, Garcia's chin stood up to Mathysse, what exactly is Peterson going to do? nothing. Maybe land some good body shots right before getting caught with a left hook for the count.

What exactly are people expecting out of Peterson either than a KO loss. could vey well be within 5 rounds.

Fighters are only fighting 2-3 times a year, dont waste this on peterson.

I see in Peterson a fighter who has given everyone except Matthysse tough fights. He outfought Bradley when no one thought he would, came back to do very well down the stretch against Ortiz for a 10 round draw, beat Khan, he's a good fighter.

Garcia is not like Matthysse. He doesn't fight like Matthysse or hit as hard. He might catch Peterson with a big shot and end it early, but I don't think so. Peterson is the superior inside fighter, he's good enough boxing to do that when necessary, and he could outwork Garcia in more than a few rounds. It's no sure thing who wins IMO. Garcia likely wins, but I don't think it's guaranteed.

I would like to see this fight happen, it would have been cool to see this fight a couple of months ago when they were both on the same card fighting tune ups. Styles makes fights make happen GBP.
