    lomachenko, golovkin, klitschko, and kovalev?

they are a strange kind of fighters, not strange as in race but we are all used to seeing mexico and the U.S dominate the sport, now these guys are not even from the phillipines , puerto rico , england etc. and they all seemed to have become giants, lol, klitschko been there but what is up with this, lol, is there any other guys like this that is a jauggernaut azz type fighter that will make people feel surprised that boxing is slowly becoming a eastern european dominated sport, lol,

i know gradovich, provodnikov, lebedev, and dmitry pirog among others are around but these guys are fun too watch, lol, not klitschko cause he destroys our american fighters he is still a ****in incredible beastman, lol

eastern erupean russian fighters, lol, i never saw that coming

The thing about Golovkin is that his KOs bring about an almost anti-climatic ending to fights.

Klitschko, Kovalev, and Golovkin all deserve massive respect. I am still befuddled by the respect for Lomachenko. I understand he is arguably the most accomplished amateur of all time, but this guy has 3 pro fights. He beat a journeyman, lost to a veteran that had been defeated a dozen times, and beat down a protected prospect that had been fed a steady diet of fighters ranked around #100-300. Lomachenko may very well unify featherweight and establish himself as a P4P fighter, but I don't understand why he is mentioned in the same breath as Klitschko, Kovalev, and Golovkin right now.

yeah the sport has become more popular in euro-asian than in america so there gonna be more people leaning toward boxing in that region. Also great amateur from that region are turning pro wich you didn't see that much in the old days.

It might seem pedantic but Kovalev and Golovkin are more Central Asian than European. Kovalev is from somewhere in the Ural mountains.

Ex-Soviet is probably a better way to describe them. They're from a school of boxing with a long tradition that could well be major force in the sport in the years ahead.

Funny how a Soviet dude had a major hand in developing the Cuban amateur system, yet stylistically they're radically different.
