Froch can beat Kovalev

Froch might die due to the sustained beating he'd take. Froch's chin would be bad for him if that fight happened... I think Kessler is the only 168lber with balls to fight Kovalev. Froch got beat soundly by Ward with one hand and I had Dirrell by decision. Kovalev is bigger, athletic, faster, hits harder, rangier, and possesses more skills than Froch. Froch is overrated and Kovalev is still being underestimated. Resume and likeability doesn't make up for size and skill all the time. Kovalev is a threat to anyone he fights including Ward.

Tough match-up for Froch. He would need a knockout to win I think and if he couldn't hurt Kovalev he would be completely fucked. He might hurt him though. It's not impossible.

That's my opinion, Froch is quicker, has a better jab, hits damn hard and might have a better chin. It would be a great fight either way and I think Froch should go in confident, this is a chance for him to solidify his legacy as one of the best this generation

i also dont understand this way of thinking, lol, i love froch but groves made froch struggle, lol, at the end of the day, the euro fans booed froch and cheered for groves cause froch didnt fight seriously, lol, groves aint got power or anything special, he is a good fighter not at kovalevs level and with a smaller frame
