2 of my fav fighters the krusher has krushed.I was hurt when he steamrolled "our" Nathan.Last night he gave a good account of himself but he just wasn't good enough on the night,and Kovalev was real good,stuck to his game plan and went to finish Bernard off in the last.


Now i hope he fu.cks up Adonis.I've always felt Kovalev was the better fighter out of the two,now i hope he gets the chance to prove it.

I wasn't at all fooled by his recent opposition at all, he didn't even look that impressive and at an old age Hopkins was finding it more and more difficult to initiate the action. It's weird because 80% of his MW run consisted of him being the aggressor and he did that very well, so when you see him struggle in that department it's saddening.

When your success can only come against those who not only take it to you but also decide to stay in the pocket long enough for incoming shots (Which Kovalev didn't do) it's time to retire. I know I'm not the only one who saw that his ability to initiate was too deteriorated, countering off the ropes being his sole game is only gonna work against the weakest of the weak.

Prime Hopkins is always arguably gonna be my favorite fighter ever. I hope he retires while he can still articulate himself very well.
