He did what he had to do. I wasn't all that impressed with Hopkins to be honest with you. I saw what you saw with Kovalev. I saw movement and I saw that he dominated the fight. But at the same time I also saw opportunities to counter Kovalevs jab, especially the jab to the body. And Hopkins didn't try to exploit that. At LHW maybe nobody will be able to exploit that. But there's holes in his game, same with every fighter. Stephenson, Kovalev, and Fonfara are the best LHWs I've seen, although LHW is a division I've never shown much interest in. But those 3 have the most tools IMO. I could see Fonfara giving Kovalev a good fight because of his length and he throws straight punches. Stevenson too because of his power, hand speed, and athleticism. Those 3 are the cream of the LHW division.
