I actually pitty Khan for his choice of partner. She clearly doesn't know how to cook anything traditional, hasn't the traditional eastern or religious values that Khan's family clearly has. She's probably spent more time looking at her phone than the real world. I would bet that Khan's mum is deeply ashamed any time her daughter in law steps out the house in 'i wanna dress up as a white woman outfit'.

I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if there have many arguments in the Khan family regarding the worthless woman he decided to make his bride.
