But to say he is the third most popular boxer in the world is ****** and unfounded.

His PPV numbers are nothing to shout about, and most boxing fans would place Cotto, Canelo, GGG, Froch (to name a few) before Khan for pure Marque value.
What you mean his ppv numbers in a country with 250 million less people? His numbers may have not been amazing thus far, but he has been on ppv long before he was a world champion, which is impressive in itself, plus his career is still going, he's only had 33 fights, do you know what Mayweather's 33rd fight was? Henry Brussels...was Mayweather considered a draw back then? The fact that he was the B side against Arturo Gatti says enough in my opinion. The point is if Khan keeps winning, I am sure he will break records with the right dance partners, as that would follow the trajectory his career has gone up to now, going back to his fights with Kindelan that draw 8 million in the olympic final, and over 6 million for the rematch, which are simply astonishing numbers for boxing, and good numbers for any type of programming

Boxing fans might consider those guys more notable, but we are not just talking about boxing fans are we? I agree with you that I don't think he is the third biggest draw in the sport, he is up there though, but there is no real way to quantify it. The problem with US boxing fans is that they think popularity in the US is the only thing that counts, and that is not the case, especially when it comes to UK fighters as the market here is significant, in many ways it is more successful than the US. For example attendances in the UK are great, even for lower level British title fights.

You are right in most of what you say - it is a different market and a different type of support in the UK / USA.

My point was that Khan is still not the '3rd most popular boxer in the world'.

I think the best test is PPV and actual fight attendance figures as this is indicative of who is interested in the Boxer vs the personality.

The US market is where the numbers are made - that is why Khan moved there in the first place.

Guinness is a very calculating and sinister bigot. He says just enough to let you know what he's all about but he doesn't say too much so then he can play his "Who? Me? " innocent act afterwards. Being in his 40s, he's probably had plenty of practice in covering his tracks.

The US market indicates your popularity in the USA.....funnily enough

Khan is very well known around the world. Given your "persuasion", we know you don't think certain countries should be acknowledged or exist.

Take care Diggles, I mean that sincerely.

                    I worry about you sometimes.

                    Peace and diversity.

                      Look at Guinness' photo album...

I actually think this guy needs serious help! I bet his got the infamous Khan Skype pictures in a "private folder"

You're in your 40s. Find a wife or something you ***in creep. Stay off the internet. Stop obsessing over Amir Khan. It's very very disturbing.

I think you'd be a prime candidate for the show, "The Undateables".
