You have to sometimes take a step back and think what he has had to go through, couldn't have been easy, I have been to one of his fights and the amount of casual racist talk was embarrassing, I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable to be there, I almost felt like asking some of these people why they were there in the first place. It doesn't just apply to his shows as well, I remember hearing about an amateur show in Liverpool years ago that his little brother was on and he went to support and got abused there, it got out of control. It is kind of rough, especially considering he is a genuinely nice kid, a bit thick...definitely, says the wrong things sometimes....definitely, a bit annoying...I would say yes, but he is hardly a personality like Naz, Eubank, or even Calzaghe.

He may not always help himself, and people can say that these were isolated incidents, and there are way more people that support him over here than hate on him, which is the truth. But stuff like the above stays with you. I don't think he would ever turn his back on the UK anyway, or talk bad about the country. I just don't think he needs to fight over here, the paydays aren't any bigger. HBO and Showtime can throw more money even at average shows. I remember Ricky Hatton eluded to this in his book. I think he will fight Brook but when he gets an ok from Virgil Hunter and Al Haymon, who think will match him better than Golden Boy did. Hopefully neither guy picks up an L in the meantime, I think the fight will be even bigger next year.
WTF are you talking about? All boxer's get abuse, doesn't matter who they are, Khan's not special.

Depending on how you look at it -Haymon has certainly had an effect on Khan's career.

In my opinion, he's been terrible for Khan. Probably promised him the Mayweather fight and he's delivered Collazo's, Alexander's and Algieri's. He has lost most of his fans in the UK and he isn't even that popular in the USA. Why is Mayweather going to fight him? He was badly advised not to take the Alexander fight in the first place and now he's been badly advised not to take the Brook fight.

On the other more cynical hand, Haymon has maybe saved his career by keeping him away from punchers and matching him carefully.

Even I criticise Khan heavily but gotta give it to him, first he designs Reebok's that even Floyd wears and then he put Fight Label on the map with his shorts and they have now designed shorts for Floyd lmao.

If he delivers a Mayweather fight in September, then all else goes out the window.
