It is Mr Khan for you.

No clue. May be cash in Money in the Bank brief case after Brook's fight with Gavin and deliver an F-5 for the win.

Well he didn't do that against two former Khan opponents who he beat extremely convincingly similarly to another Khan opponent who he also beat a lot better in the rematch than what Khan did.

So Alexander looked like a complete novice against Khan - doesn't mean he wasn't previously a world champion.

What you're doing now is taking away from Brook that he beat a top contender that he was picked to get knocked out against.

Still doesn't change the fact that Khan hasn't beaten a legit top contender since Maidana which is 4½ years ago.

What is a legit top contender? Zab Judah was the other champion in the division after Bradley ducked him. He beat Lamont Peterson. Lost to Garcia. Julio Diaz arguably beat the guy you're hyping before Khan beat him. Collazo and Alexander were top 10 welterweights.

Sounds like you're just ****ting on Khan for everything just because he's ducking Brook. Khan's resume ****s Brook's. It's not even up for debate and shouldn't even be discussed.

Alexander is what counts. He needed two attempts to beat Diaz. Come on now?

Paulie was shot to **** when Porter fought him.

But you call them former Khan opponents cuz deep down even you realize how good Khan is that dubbing them as such adds value for Brook.

Too bad you can't say that about Frankie Gavin and Brandon Rios.

              • Talking about Frankie Gavin being better than Algieri.
              • Governing body rankings are garbage except when Brook is mandatory and a Champion of one of them.

Damn I mean Porter is so good many were saying he lost his first outing to Julio Diaz, but got a Draw lmaooo.

Judah wasn't a top contender. That's right laced because he was a World Champion. Barely top 5? Belt holders are automatically top 4 let alone 5 unless it is WW. Alexander was a World Champion at WW not long ago, but somehow was not a top contender in his division? Frankie Gavin is?

Feather fisted and being good are not co-related. You being an ex-amateur should know better.

Porter had one good win in Devon Alexander, but really what else?
              - If you look at my post I specifically excluded Maidana from that list, so that's not true.

              - I have never said Gavin is better than Algieri - I said Khan would probably make more money vs him because it would be a UK fight

              - I have always said organisation rankings were crap and I maintain that to Brook as well - if you disagree please show where I have said otherwise. The only ranking I go by are TRBR or Ring.

              - But he clearly corrected that outcome in the rematch? I agree he didn't look good vs Diaz in the first fight. He clearly picked up on that in all of his subsequent fights after that. Also, it's not like Khan looked like a million dollars vs Diaz.

              - Automatically top 4? You're having a laugh mate. He picked up a vacant belt vs Kaizer Mabuza who was hardly in the top 10 As of 2010 Judah wasn't a top 10 fighter in the divison and was only #8 in 2011. As I said, not top 5. Bradley, Peterson, Garcia, Morales, Alexander, Bradley, Khan, Matthysse were all ranked above him in 2011.

              - I'm not sure why you bring up Frankie Gavin? Where have I bigged that feather-fisted fish face up anywhere? he's crap.

              - Alexander was a world champion not long ago. Who did he beat at WW that made him anywhere near a top 5 contender? No one is who. He was ranked #9 or so when Khan fought him and it doesn't take a genius to see he's not very good.

              - Being a featherfist in the pros is quite clearly a disadvantage. You can be good otherwise, but you need to be able to punch.

I said legit top 5 contender or someone who would actually have a chance against the top guys in the division. Judah most certainly wasn't that. He was 10 years past his prime when Khan fought him.

Did you just say Collazo was a top 10 welterweight? What have you been smoking? Haha.

As I said, the Diaz affair wasn't good. But he clearly did beat him in the rematch and proceeded to beat up some other Khan victims too.

What makes you say Paulie was shot to ****? Where have we seen proof of that before his fight with Porter? It's not like Khan fought a prime Malignaggi anyway, who even in his prime, wasn't anything special.

Not really. I'm calling it like I see it. Since Maidana, I don't think Khan has beaten a top contender. Even if you want to include Judah in that, that's still 4 years ago.

Brandon Rios would be Khan's best win for 4 years.

why was matthysse ranked ahead of Judah when Judah beat him?

Overall Khan has a better resume than Brook.

                  That cannot be debated.

                  But...

If you take BOTH Khan's and Porter last few fights and next fight - then there is not a huge difference in the quality of their respective opposition.

It's okay to split hairs about who beat who, and when they did it but the fact remains NEITHER have fought anyone near the best in the division.

                  Finally,

Brook deserves props for winning a belt in the USA - Khan never did this.

And Diaz put Khan down, hard...

Khan took Zab's IBF belt in Vegas. Before Khan Ko'd him Zab only had one other loss at 140 lbs, the infamous "don't ever play with matches" affair w/ Tzu from way back in 2001. Zab was easily top 5 at 140 back in 2011, coming off wins vs Matthyse and Mabuza (remember Mabuza stopped Kendall Holt to get that belt, same guy Danny squeaked by), and Garcia was not on the map at the time. Bradley, Khan, Alexander, and Maidana were the big 4 at 140 at the time. Zab easily had the number 5 spot because he had a belt, hadn't lost at 140 in almost a decade, and was coming off a decent win streak.

I pick Khan to beat Brook, but I also think he is intimidated by Brook's size. I think Virgil wants Khan to wait for a bit until he grows into a big WW. Khan came in at 160 for the Alexander fight, his heaviest ever. After the fight Virgil said he wants Khan to come in at 165 for his next fight.

I don't like the ducking, but I do think Khan's chances of winning increase if he takes time to grow a bit more.
