and lets not act like porter is some sort of killer, his style is amateurish and he had a draw with diaz not too long ago.
Is Maidana 2010, coming off unimpressive performances, a better win than undefeated Porter coming off two very impressive wins vs a world champion and former world champion?

I'm not so sure. But I'll give it the equal. In fact, I'm not sure Khan has a better win than Porter on his resume. Especially considering that out of 114 experts, none picked Brook to win.

Maidana in 2010 was a monster with 95% KO ratio that destroyed Ortiz who was meant to be the next Golden Boy. Nobody wanted to fight him and Khan stepped up. I wouldn't say Paulie was an impressive win, the guy was over the hill and old. Alexander had an off night and wasn't in the right frame of mind because the Khan fight fell through and Porter came in and took the shot.

behave yourself. everyone wanted khan to fight a puncher so he fought the guy with highest ko ratio in the division. porter is overrated hot garbage, and i was saying this before brook fought him check my comments, but i give him credit for beating him.

but u still havnt answered my question, who the hell has brook fought apart from porter? 1 win doesnt make u a world beater, even buster fvkin douglas has 1 good win on his resume.

And look at who Brook is wanting to fight in the future, gavin and rios. The guy will never take a risk without getting a massive payday from Khan to secure him and his family. As for Khan he doesn't want to give Brook that security without taking the long hard route of fighting world class opposition in their backyards.

Exactly Khan should **** Brook off and fight Thurman or Bradley or even rematch Maidana I'm sure uncle Al will make sure Khan is well compensated, and if he some how pulls off the impossible he is in a much much better position for the big prize.

Actually Khan did not step up

Maidana was his mandatory for 18 months - IT TOOK HIM 18 MONTHS TO TAKE THE FIGHT

DON'T MAKE OUT KHAN AS SOMEONE WHO WILL FIGHT ANYONE BECAUSE THAT'S NOT THE CASE

LOOK AT THE QUALITY OF FIGHTERS HE HAS FOUGHT SINCE DANNY GARCIA

He fought him within a year actually. Its not like that year made any difference, Marcos was still prime and knocking everything out in sight. Look at the quality of fighters Maidana fought before 2 fights with mayweather, Soto Karrass, Martinez, Lopez and Broner. Are you telling me thats a solid lineup of names to deserve TWO fights with Floyd? Or beating Andre Berto deserves FLoyd in the case for Ortiz and Guerrero? GTFO.

The problem is that Khan fought Alexander AFTER Alexander already lost the title.

No doubts Maidana was a good win - but personally i think khan was lucky to win that fight - i know it's all ifs buts and maybes BUT if he had not landed that body shot in the first round

i have no doubt marcos would have stopped him late

who has khan fought since garcia - 1 opponent of note ALEXANDER

Doesn't change the fact that Devon is a solid fighter with a great amatuer record, a two weight world champion with a solid resume. He was expecting the Khan fight and instead was let down when he had to face Porter who was hungrier and took advantage of a distracted Devon that night. In terms of resume and accomplishments, Alexander is a much better name to have on your record especially in the fashion that Khan beat him in.
