Hop became gunshy once he tasted Kov's power. His offensive output was pathetic. His only strategy was "dont get hit, try a sneaky haymaker a few times a round and duck out the way." It's commendable that at almost 50 he was still able to go the distance, but that was NOT a spirited effort. Everytime Hop did try to open up some offense, he got hit so I think he became very conservative.

That was probably the worse performance of Hop's career- but it was because of his opponent. Hop probably could have still beaten most of the other top 10 LHW last night.

lets not forget these guys are real real veterans of the sport, especially ward and pascal and can make kova miss and make him pay, thats the sport of boxing... and we both know kova is skilled but he is not a fast fighter and who knows what will happen when he fights a guy who reflexes are not compromised by age like b-hop...
Pascal should not be on that list. Would not consider him good, but not elite.
Dirrell has talent, but would likely fold once he gets hurt. His "matrix" style will get him caught with a big punch when he pulls out.

Ward is the guy that might trouble Kov.

So, tell us more about how Buttkins was going to take Kovalev to school. Typical bloody flowmo racetard.

Boxing B-Hop is the right strategy, even he admitted it that he wanted Kovalev to come to him but Kovalev WISELY would get his clean work off and then back off, keeping his distance away from Clinching and avoid B-Hop inside tactics

It is no secret B-Hop struggled the most with BOXERS, most of his loses was him getting out-boxed

let this old guy who is not a legend go away...Ray Robinson was a legend, Monzon, Mike Spinks that NEVER lost @ LHW, Bob Foster, all these would have dominated hopkiins......Hopkins never fought 10 ellites in his whole cherry picking career...
