I kind of cringed when Kov said this because I felt like its a little rude to say another man should quit before he even gets to talk for himself after the fight. But I know English isn't Kov's first language and that he was giving Bernard a lot of respect after that saying he would still beat anyone else is the division

Kovalev contradicted himself in this. After he said what he wanted to say, he said Hopkins has a chance at winning another title vs Stevenson, yet says he needs to retire?

One thing I noticed was BHop barely said anything in the corner. I think that KD in the first round affected him and he just went into survival mode pretty much

He didn't want to risk getting caught going for a clinch cuz Kovalev likes to step back when he sees you feint or come forward.

BHop can still beat guys who aren't technically good or big punchers. Stevenson can punch but he didn't look good against Fonfara so I think BHop can still beat him.

Unless he fights Cloud's and Murat's of the world.
He could still beat Stevenson imo.

Says he needs to retire because he's already accomplished all he needs and younger fighters need more opportunites to get a foot in the sport. I'm sure the talk about Stevenson was moreso disdain for Aducknis. He'd rather Hopkins embarrass Aducknis than Aducknis keeping his belt, talking gibberish while continue ducking.

Tonight was a great win for kovalev and he impressed me but he still did not do what nobody has done before and that is to stop Bernard Hopkins. still would not bet on ward but am sure he will have a harder time with sergey than ggg.
Yes because Kovalev is much bigger than GGG. GGG is a even better fighter than Kovalev though.

predicted a Kovalev decision, I knew Bernard was that tough, what an alien...
