            I don't agree. Trinidad was past his best and was just not big or physical enough for Hopkins at that time in his career. kovalev is a natural light heavyweight with power in both hands and descent boxing skills. I think Hopkins at his best was better lb4lb but kovalev wouldn't have been able to fight at middleweight. hes just much too big

              Who knows, but it was clear Hopkins had trouble closing the distance to get inside against Kovalev's jab.

                  How was Trinidad past his best when he fought BHop. He was the favourite going into the fight, was only in his late twenties, had a 40-0-0 record and was a reigning middleweight titlist.

                      im judging by how he looked in that and subsequent fights. anyway,,,,,hops was just much too big and physical for trinidiad regardless
