It would be a different fight 5 years ago, let alone 10-15 years ago. Hopkins had very little to offer tonight.
I do think Kovalev would always be an issue for him. For a massive puncher, he's active and athletic.

I 2nd Kovalev is too much. Calzaghe, Taylor twice, and Dawson didn't happen. Neither did the prime Roy Loss.

hopkins was never able to beat complete fighters with a combination of power and speed. cracks me up the Hopkins nuthuggers that thought hed dominate kovalev
