That has always been the main thing that impressed me about Kovalev. He punches very hard but he doesn't just load up on one shot. He's got power in both hands and actually throws in bunches. A rare skill to have.

Having said that, Hopkins was virtually done tonight. He needs to retire.

Not sure if you meant to watch MMA and mistakenly turned on the Hopkins v Kovalev fight because if you had then you would of seen a clear shutout! Hopkins not only lost but he lost bad! He didn't win one round in that fight and yeah he has a great chin but seriously Kovalev I think wanted to make a statement that he can box as well and I think he showed Hopkins too much respect and didn't KO him when he clearly could of at any time he chose!

Hopkins showed you why he's never been knocked out. Good defense and one hell of a chin. Kovalev is good, he did something nobody else has done, dominant Hopkins.

            Respect for BHOP.....

Props to SK for winning like I predicted. I'd like to also give BHOP credit for going the distance with such a hard puncher. He has always had good defense and an amazing chin. He pissed SK off in the 12th and took a BEATING. Wow. It was actually a good fight to watch as well. This is what boxing used to be about. Fighters taking the necessary risks for the sake of the fans.

This is exactly what I predicted. Hopkins would just move around and not engage and lose a decision. Kovalev actually impressed me with his hand speed. His punches were sharp and on point and he didn't throw many slow, looping shots. Hopkins took a beating in that 12th round and should hang it up before he seriously gets hurt if he wasn't already. BTW, I completely disagree with the author stating that Hopkins hurt Kovalev in the 12th round. Kovalev wasn't stunned at all by that Hopkins shot.

Pure domination via skill. Kovalev was just too slick and smart for B Hop. The sweet science prevails once again.

Kovalev will be very hard to beat. Tall, good size, uses his range, insane power effortlessly while not reaching and athletic. Needs to work on stamina. Damn near couldn't talk post fight. IMO it will be harder to beat kovalev than golovkin.

Kovalev shut me up. Good God. I need to see those moments that people were saying Hopkins was on ***** street. I sincerely expected Hopkins to pull another rabbit out of the hat. He finally bit off more than he could chew. Much more. 120-107?! Jesus Christ.
