Not a very intelligent post. Algieri basically said for the style of fighting Hopkins does his experience is invaluable. He didn't say "whoever is older always wins" which seems to be what you're reading.

Out of Pacquaio, Algieri, Kovalev and Hopkins, none of those fighters are remotely similar. You have practically 4 opposite corners of the spectrum.

And they have diminished drastically in the last few years. B-Hop has come to rely on ring smarts usually being the slower and less physically gifted fighter in the ring. Entirely different ballparks here people.

With that said, as much as i'm a fan of Hop, I don't see how he'll beat Kovalev. That dude is a monster.
Remember how bradley was suppose to box pac's ears off.. Oh wait......

Much respect to B Hop for taking this extremely dangerous fight specially at his age. Hopefully these new up and coming prospects learn a thing or two from him. I've had enough of cherry picked bullish fights.

No, I am reading this: "Algieri is siding with the 49-old-veteran, believing his skills and experience will overcome the much younger puncher from Russia." This makes it clear that Algieri believes that Hopkins will win, and having declared this, Algieri has confirmed to me that he hasn't two brain cells to rub together. Never on his best day in his entire ring career would or could Bernard Hopkins beat Kovalev. Kovalev is going to break Hopkins and do so in style. Tonight, Hopkins is facing his nemesis; Kovalev destroys Hopkins. Count on it.

Algieri = Thief. Thieves opinions have no value in my eyes.

He robbed Provo in his hometown, until he releases a public apology for it, I don't care about him.
