I am wondering how it is that it was ok for Barrera to refuse Pac for TWO YEARS citing reasons that he cited, including, but not limited to, "I don't take on Morales' left-overs", while it is not fishy for Barrera to issue a challenge to which Pac should respond in ONE WEEK. And, why is it not fishy that after Pac won over Erik, MAB's call prior to Morales-Pac II was suddenlly muted, as Barrera prepared for the eventually aborted Chavez meeting, instead of repeating the dare earlier issued.
What's behind this habit of Barrera calling out Pac when Pac is about to meet someone else and refusing to meet Pac when Pac was available?
The question begs for an answer that goes beyond labels for nationalities and fans.
I also wonder what the IF word is doing in the sentence "If Manny beat Barrera...what's his problem?" The first meeting, to me, leaves no allowance for doubt as to who won. The fact that the Barrera corner threw in the towel is PROOF (and not merely EVIDENCE) that even Barrera's camp was totally convinced that they lost. No "if's."
