The truth of the matter is that 99% of fighters have no control whatsoever as to who their opponents are. Promotional / managerial contracts typically grant opponent selection authority to the manager or promoter. Sure, the fighter can get on twitter and say "I want THIS guy or I want THAT" guy but it is meaningless, as that decision will be made by someone else. Floyd, Cotto, Klitschko, Marquez, and maybe Pac are the only fighters who can actually choose their own opponents.....

gd point...you named the 5-6 good fights made by Haymon fighters...we'll forget Garcia v Salka, Peterson v. Santana, Thurman v Julio Diaz, Broner v. Carlos Molina, Stevenson v Suktowsky, Quillin v. Konecny, Berto v. Steve Chambers, etc. and thats just '14, you had to go back to '13 just to find a few competitive fights involving Haymon fighters.
