I mean, I love the guy's career but I stopped defending him a while ago. The Bradley fights were nice surprises, but they're an anomaly of a disappointing run post-2010.

Agreed. Even the Marquez fights were bad choices (not using hindsight). They just so happened to get burned. Since beating Cotto he's accomplished very, very little at welter and instead of seeking greater challenges is looking for the worst available opponents around. Pacquiao will retire as an ATG and a shoo-in HOF'er but re-signing with Arum indicates to me that he really isn't interested in fighting Mayweather, or any other top welters, or any top junior welters either.

I would not be shocked, its a win win for Arum.
In house fight, Arum can keep a bigger chunk of the money, and the most dangerous guys for Pac seem to be at GBP or with Haymon.

Funny how people talk about Danny Garcia Vs Manny Pacquiao being a possible fight, but then we you talk about Manny Pacquiao Vs Keith Thurman all of a sudden "he's a Al Haymon fighter" Danny is a Haymon fighter too and probably the scariest out of the bunch.

In the end, it's plenty of legit fights for Manny, outside of Mayweather and Marquez, period!
