Hopkins wont win anymore fights... At 41 or 42 he done for. Tarver wins a 12 UD. I hate to see tarver win but he will.

I thought he said he was going up to heavyweight? i hope he does and som1 cleans him out. ( like James Toney)

I agree, Hopkins is done if he goes up to fight Tarver. This fight is pathetic, the only intrigue is from the following factors: Hopkins advanced age-Hopkins going up 2 weight classes-Tarver being having to slim back down into fighting shape (I think these factors outweight Hopkins speed vs. Tarvers power because of the slow pace of the fight). I don't like either of these guys and I agree w/ most of you, this fight will be a snore fest. I'd rather watch Cotto - Malignaggi, I have a feeling that fight will be closer than people think. Cotto seems to have regressed in his past few fights. Malignaggi hasn't fought anybody but he has the speed/craftiness to give Cotto some problems. Neither of these is worth the PPV money.

i would have to agree. at 42 years old and gaining 15 pounds, it just doesn't look good for bhop although i will be pulling for him.

jump 2 weight classes from his best class and beat the champ there
not happening
hopkins got too many distractions too
hell be 0-3 in his last 3 fights in the books

I think Hopkins will expose Tarver's stamina issue. Tarver fights really tight which makes him extremely tired in the championship rounds

Easy call. Tarver is younger, bigger, stronger. Hopkins has to go to him to win the title, which is not his style.
