Robert Garcia is clearly a good trainer. Maybe a very good trainer.

Victor is just stating his opinion.

Personally I think that RG is a decent trainer, but not the type of guy to put an arm around a fighter and give him milk and cookies before bedtime.

Victor needs a milk and cookies trainer, he needs to feel special.

No problem with that, it doesn't make Victor a bad person or RG a bad trainer.

I think Victor is quite a complex, emotional kid - so he needs a patient, mentor type trainer.

At least he doesn't get hurt sucking at acting. On the other hand he hurts our eyes and makes our soul cringe watching him play pretend so poorly not sure which is worse.

Cant help but wonder how Mr Belding is doing financially though

I dont know what happened between Ortiz and Garcia, but it seems to me that Ortiz loves to play on the sympathy of others. HBO loved it too, oh this poor abandoned child, bla bla. Get over it man your a millionaire now. Move on.

Exactly the sense I get. Victor came up having to take care of siblings, in foster care and I think it was a rough road. One thing I see is a lot of posters here seem to forget that Victor did have it rough that way....say what you will about the kid but he did come up hard.

I actually think a trainer like Teddy Atlas would do wonders for this kid. Is Victor pathological? sometimes sociopathology is an adaptive measure....he could be a sociopath who is lying. I always give people the benefit of the doubt though and Victor sounds cogent to me.

Wow! what an ahole thing to say, but hey...most posters here would probably agree...Just get over it right? and then trot out someone who went through foster care who feels the same way and wala!! Victor becomes a big baby.

People do not JUST get over everything. its quite possible this kid was sexually abused, that he had to overcome fear, pain and beatings to protect his siblings etc. Money does no substitute for those things and it is ignorant to assume it does.
