Alvarez is entering his prime now, and will beat Cotto. Canelo was pre-prime when he fought Floyd.

Then we'll have GGG-Alvarez which will be a great matchup.

Saw a few videos yesterday on Periscope of Canelo training. He seems very sharp but keeps putting everything he got on his punches and his endurance suffers having to take lots of breaks. Also, his speed did not seem of what I have seen before.

One thing I notice is that they are preparing to counter Cotto's left hook with combinations starting with left hook to the body. Pretty much every single routine repeated the drill. Good for them. Cotto will be prepared for that I'm sure.

They will attempt to take Cotto's left hook but Cotto's faint's will fool Canelo. Also, all of those counters Canelo was completely flat footed, and Cotto will not be just standing there.

Other than that, it was good watching him train.

Who cares? Canelo entering his prime isn't as good as Cotto past his.

***! Toady I saw Cotto on Periscope and he is ripped, in shape like I never seen him before. He waslight on his feets, hand speed and coordiantion crisp and accurate. He was relaxed and confident. His combos were smooth and powerful.

I see Cotto stopping Canelo earlier now, may be around 5-7th? I still have King Cotto b6 stoppage, under 10 rds!
