Roach has nothing to do with it. Cotto is the better fighter, he should pull this off.
They'll strip him if he doesn't fight GGG.

I'm rooting against Cotto because he has acted like a self entitled Diva since hooking up with Roach. I am rooting against him because he probably won't step in the ring with GGG. I want to see GGG in the ring with one of those big names because I want GGG's name to be huge by the time Andre Ward gives him a boxing lesson. I AM LOOKING AT THE BIGGER PICTURE.

I like both fighters. Both earned their respect. Cotto is a boxing legend, Canelo is on his way.

However, I do think a Canelo victory would be better for boxing. He'd cement superstar status. Golden Boy would continue to promote high level, competitive events. Plus, out of the two, I do think Canelo is more likely to face Golovkin, I won't assume for certain, but all evidence indicates Cotto wants no part of Golovkin.

That doesn't have anything to do with it. I don't like Roach, but he is not the fighter.

But You are a fan of GGG because he is an awesome fighter and he doesn't duck anyone. In the case of Ward, GGG is just trying to make his name bigger so that when they fight, the fight will be huge. GGG doesn't duck anyone.

Cotto because he is the better fighter, and deserves a good win on the way out career wise, also because I have considered Canelo a hype job since he became "relevant" and after the Floyd loss he hasn't gone away albeit being exposed, so I will continue to root for him to lose until he fades away to permanent gatekeeper status and below.

I favor canelo, but will be rooting for cotto.. But it's best for boxing's future to see canelo win..

Ward beats anything in his path. Ward hasn't lost since age 12. Ward embarrasses Stevenson. Hopkins finally showed his age against kovalev. He is no longer the ageless one. GGG needs a name to make the Ward fight bigger
