Margaritto doesnt care if you hit him 4-5 times as long as he can keep coming forward pressuring you and making you fight backwards. Margaritto was decent at cutting the ring off. Canelo is more of a boxer/puncher who like to stand and trade and mix it up

That's true, it's really kinda like comparing apples and oranges, Cotto would do himself a favor if he chose to move and turn him around as he's supposed to do. I simply haven't considered what you said at the moment of starting this topic, but now it feels like 55-45 fight in Cotto's favor. This fight would answer where are both of them now, how much has Canelo really improved and is Cotto really rejuvenated under Roach. I do honestly think he's a lot better now than when he fought Trout and Mayweather, but off course still nowhere near that 2006-2008 version.

totally different fights and fighters, cotto moves more now but nothing close to lara or floyd, plus he has less punch resistance now, his face doesnt really last many rounds like it used to before the margo fight...

There can be no Margy/Canelo comparison. Canelo isn't as big, doesn't hit as hard and doesn't have the stamina to do what Margy could.

Canelo will hit and get out of range for 12 rounds. Canelo may get him with a few solid shots and there will be some fun rounds but Cotto has this one.

margo was big and had power at 147, at 154 he wasnt the same...

You're all buying into this footwork of Cotto, you really need to look at Cotto closely here he isn't any better than the time Trout owned him and Canelo dealt with Lara and Trout in there own way the same will happen with Cotto mark my words.
