Cotto is no Mayweather, but is he definitely more technical than you think. Skilled fighter who has a lot of fundamentals down.

this comparisons are being made to see how the square with each other, therefore are pointless when somebody uses floyd , cotto wont be able to do the same cuz he fights nothing alike... if anything lara was closer to floyd and failed to do the same...

I envision cotto doing Canelo how he did Martinez, but with the crazy first round.

However cotto won't be able to do what Floyd did I do believe cotto will win by a wide margin. Not the shutout Floyd pitched but it will be a substantial win.

Lest not forget that Canelo was naive enough to think he can box with Floyd. Rookie mistake. Canelo wouldn't fight him the same if they rematched. Floyd will certainly win the rematch but I don't think I like be a shut out. 10-2.

i agree...at some point canelo connects and he breaks cotto...cotto will make it fun but in the end youth and precision punching prevail.
