Amir Khan believes upcoming opponent Devon Alexander represents a tougher test than IBF welterweight champion and British rival Kell Brook.

Khan is looking to catapult himself into contention for major bouts against boxing kingpins Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in 2015 by beating former two-weight world champion Alexander on December 13 in Las Vegas.

A mouthwatering domestic showdown with Brook has also been mooted after the Sheffield fighter captured a portion of the world title in the 147lb division by beating Alexander's conqueror Shawn Porter in August.

So basically he sat out waiting for Floyd by avoiding Alexander to fight him now.

If he would had beaten Alexander back then he would had his shot. I don't want to hear again that Bradley avoided him to fight Pac.

Any of those combination between Khan, Brook, Alexander or Porter would be good match ups

I don't see how Khan thinks Devon is tougher than Brook right know. Maybe a few years ago.

Devon atleast has been in some world title fights and beaten some world class opponents.


Brook has beaten just 1, Shawn Porter who almost got beat by Julio Diaz.
