Ortiz doesn't really have any boxing technique. He doesn't throw any jabs. He's practically begging to be hit every time he throws a punch.

He has power and speed, but he's not really good enough to hang with the best. A lot of guys at 147 would really punish him.

Ortizs gets stuck between two styles always, being a brawler or a boxer. When he's just brawling, the first half of his fight with Lamont, he was knocking him down, when he backs off a bit to box and admire his handiwork, he gets clocked, everytime.

His best bet is to just brawl, in that case he has chance with tons of fighters, but he doesn't have the heart of a brawler.

Good point. I do believe that he could develop that heart. I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but be he lacks confidence in himself. If he begins to believe that he might hang with a few of them.
