Not that good of a boxer. Sucks as an actor. Dude needs to make like a tree and leave the sport.

A rematch would have been pretty interesting had he beaten Lopez and then Canelo who he was scheduled to fight.

Two stoppage losses later, 2 years later with no win since and next opponent TBA. No thanks.

Ortiz is one weird dude. I like his confidence, tho, that he still feels he's relevant.

This would be a waste of Chino's time tbh. Ortiz should have his eyes set on Berto.

Too much time has happened since Maidana, and not only that Maidana despite losing to Mayweather twice still is a top fighter at the 147lb division. Maidana has improved a lot sice he fought Ortiz, he now commands a very good jab, is stronger and can still hit you from all different angles. Ortiz on the other hand despite having a great attidude and confidence has not won since 2011, is 0-3 and kod in those three fights. His chin and his confidence quickly goes away when he's hit flush, and after that broken Jaw his head might be screwed up. The only fight that makes sense is Josesito Lopez, who like Ortiz has not been relevant since losing to Canelo. He can start there, and then go on to Colazo(sp). But even then its not enough to demand the top money guys in the division. And he can forget about Canelo, he murder him with one solid punch.

                    Extreme Suckage

Ortiz quit against Maidana 5 years ago, and now he's crying for a rematch? Why Vic, you quit! He got sucker-punched by Mayweather 3 years ago. Why is he just now saying he wants a rematch? He should have screamed from the highest mountain top that he got a raw deal against Mayweather and demanded a rematch immediately after it happened! After the Lopez fight, he must have thought he would be a movie star. That didn't pan out, so he wanted to mount a comeback in boxing against Collazo. Now he's trying to comeback from a comeback. That pitful loss to Collazo says it all; the comeback failed, he's done.

If Ortiz wants a high profile fight he can earn it by getting a few wins. After his abysmal recent record he has nothing coming so he shouldn't act so entitled.
