Thurman Turns Down $6 Million Dollars Deals With Roc Nation

The Haymon reluctance seems to be related to signing long term agreements with HBO. Dan Rafael said "a" fight though. As in one fight, unless there's more to it and Rafael didn't get the full details. Otherwise, don't see why Haymon wouldn't want more dates on a high profile network.Comment

Can anyone verify this? I remember reading somewhere that Jay-Z and Haymon have some long-standing beef over a business dispute Beyonce and Al had back when Al was still in the music industry.
If it's true, looks like Al's personal conflicts are costing his fighters serious money. Can't think of another reason why a guy like Thurman would turn down $6 million and a chance to be featured on HBO.Comment

He hasn't seen Roc nation make guys money but he just turned down like $10 million dollars from them....uh, yeah OK Thurman. Fight Bundu or whatever his name is and then go back to the shelf for another 2 years.Comment

Thurman says he's making a seven figure purse in this next fight though. And against a nobody. HBO would probably want him to fight someone legit for around the same money. I wonder if Showtime is paying the full purse, or if Haymon is subsiding purses again out of pocket.Comment
