Between Casamayor and Floyd, Diego was knocked down 8 times!!!
Diego is a tall guy for those weight divisions. He thought he can hang their and impose his size. It eventually caught up to him. Diego had the same weight issues when he moved up.
Most importantly is that we are discussing Floyd vs Diego, right? Well, in that fight, it was well documented that Corrales was severely weight drained .... So it doesn't matter what happened before or after.
You Floyd fans should stick with the facts. Even prior to the fight, it was stated that Floyd took advantage of the situation.
Corrales was sapped of energy ... came in 2lbs over at weigh in.
Corrales' lethargic appearance might have been because he was sapped of strength before the fight ever started. He weighed in two pounds over the 130-pound limit on Friday and was forced to sweat the extra baggage in a 90-minute sauna session.

Pac is the greatest of this era. He was old school nearly fighting every 6 months tough fights and dominating for 7 years. Whereas even BH was only shocking people and upsetting the bookies every once in a while, but not as bad as Floyd did with his career breaks.
Pac was always favourite just like Floyd was, but Floyd was most favourite in fantasy fights as Floyd didn't fight much.

Not Manny Pacquiao, this ATG has been putting in work with no breaks since he first came on the scene, a true fighter.
8-time world champion in eight different weight divisions, non-protected record.
Resume speaks for it's self:
- Cotto
- Marco Antonio Barrera.x2
- Erik Morales.x2
- Juan Manual Marquez.x2
- Oscar De La Hoya.(quit)
- Ricky Hatton(amazing performance,KO in two rounds).
- Antonio Margarito.(ended his career)
- Shane Mosley(KD + ran the whole fight in fear of getting Hatton'ed)
- Tim Bradley( took his soul).
And half of these wins are at welterweight, a small fighter being able to compete with fighters who are bigger, stronger, and just as fast, for so long is incredible knowing how small Pacquiao is, and to win 8tittles in so many divisions is ATG status, it's for the record books.
Fact is he fought all the future HOF'ers in impressive fashion.
Pacquiao is now 35, and past his prime. Enjoy him, this type of fighter comes through once in a lifetime.
Resume speaks for it'self.
Everyone says Floyd is the best businessman, retires when his division gets hot , and then unretires when the threats have passed. Just no cut from the same cloth.

His win over Ledwaba was way more impressive, given the circumstances.
Pacman is a great but his best wins are at feather weight and super feather weight, which is also normal considering he won his first belt at flyweight.
His run at higher weights is not as great, but still a good one.
De la Hoya was way past his prime but Pacman was the underdog.
Hatton had already lost to Mayweather but was coming off a decent win against Malignacci.
Cotto had lost to Margarito and struggled with Clottey but still a very, very good fighter.
Mosley though was really not such a great win at the time, the man was 2-2-1 in his last 5 before facing Pacman (the very last being a draw against Mora).

As a comparison the Oscar Floyd beat weighed 164 pounds and Floyd weighed 150 , think about that for a minute , the name might be the same but the fighter was a world apart in those 2 fights .
Why do you guys continually ignore the conditions of these fights , it is just so fanboy to only look at the bash , if a guy stepped into the ring with an arm tied behind his back you would say " hey thats not fair " but when its weights and matchmaking you cant see it when the proof is right in front of your face .
This forum is a fanboy surface dwellers forum , only a very small % of posters actually understand boxing at a deeper level .
