I don't know NBCsports might pay, ESPN is notoriously thrifty with their boxing budget but NBCsports needs to have more calling cards. They could make boxing one, I don't think that is out of the question as long as they know they can get sponsors.

It's impossible to tell what they'll be getting paid bcse Haymon is actually putting up the money but I can't see it being much more than regular tv type money on a channel that doesn't get big ratings.

It is true, but it could work out. At first in would likely be a bit lean but maybe not if Haymon wants to make a splash. It is true that NBCsports is not that big but they certainly have some aspirations and I am pretty sure boxing on average is among their best rated shows so if better product is on ratings could follow.

Brook beat Porter very well and Porter now is in danger of losing his career small as that it is. Kell showed Shawn to be very average and very small.

I have to admit that I was hoping to see more from Porter than he showed against Brook.

He was found out there, for sure.

He is a nice kid though, not great technically but athletic and brave.

The warning signs were there against Diaz...

Broner, Berto, hell maybe even Vicious Victor Ortiz would look good to me in 2015.
