Much respect for Hopkins, never liked his style but much respect. I was disappointed when he told Andre Ward they shouldn't fight. But much respect for being nearly 50 and fighting Kovalev. Got to love that Kovalev style !

either Hop will do what you say or get brutally KO'd within 4. Kovalev has a lazer killer right hand, long and deadly, it arrives with atomic force, it will shake Hop to the marrow of his bones, and if he stands that, he will again prove he is a great champion.
When I think of the fight I think of Marciano vs MOORE. Kovalev will do to Hop if he is truly a great, what Marciano did to Moore, albeit it may not be easy,,,,,,,unless of course Kovalev is truly great. We shall see !Comment

All I have to say is Kovalev had better win this fight. He's younger, bigger, stronger, and has enough experience and skill to deal with Hopkins. I admire Hopkins' accomplishments, but the time has come for him to stop boxing.Comment

Sergey will learn how to be a legend himself for taking out the legend Bhop himself. Kovalev is going to become the GOAT LHW. After Hop... Pascal, Adonis (if he wants to avenge his unoffical lost to Kovalev), and Ward can all get it and they will lose. If Kovalev beats them all he's undeniably the GOAT.
Easy work Kovalev Saturday night. It's just a shame that Hopkins is the only champion in the division who has the courage to fight him
Oh well. After beating even a 50 year old Hopkins and unifying the division and holding 3 titles at 175, Kovalev is a top 5 P4P fighter on anyone's unbiased list. He is already top 10 and after unifying this weekend he moves right behind Wlad, Floyd, Golovkin, Chocolaitito and Rigo on the official P4P list.
Sergey Kovalev is a once in a generation talent. I do not believe we will ever see another LHW that possesses the skill-set to match the once in a millennia devastating bone crushing power that he has. Sergey Kovalev's come around only once every 2014 years and the next one we see might not be til the year 3000 and that's being severely optimistic.

Eastern European fighters are extremely dangerous because of the way they live in their home countries, listen to the way Kovalev explains the new car he bought in the US, genuine happiness. It's do or die for these fighters. Then again B-Hop grew up in a similar environment on the streets. Tough characters become boxers, i respect both of these men and really look forward to this fight.Comment

I like Kovalev but even if he beats Bhop he's still got a long way to go. If he beats Pascal, Adonis and Ward then he may be considered to be among the greatest LHW but there's guys by the name of
