I think it's safe to say, Mayweather has probably the best defence in boxing history

    Facts are facts are facts.
Ah the spinner of BS again lol .
Facts are facts you highlight yet you twist them around like a low life petty thief that got caught !

Cotto was 20lbs bigger than the one Manny beat , the Cotto Floyd fought Manny wanted nothing to do with unless he could lay a CW on him , Manny CALLED Cotto out , Cotto said I will fight you Manny but no CW and Manny ran away , Floyd said I will fight at 154 Cotto no problems .

The other thing is Floyd said PRIOR to the fight he would stand toe to toe , he did , which after the fight all the idiots like you and Roach said Floyds legs are shot , and just like the same idiots saying the same sht after the Maidana fight , he came out in the very next fights and boxed the ears of his opponents dancing like a ballerina .

Keep trying to spin your BS kid you fail everytime .

Cotto was 20lbs bigger when he fought Floyd than Manny? I doubt that very much.

Cotto had little confidence and not in great shape going into the Floyd fight. Cotto had already been in several wars and lost several of them too. Cotto vs Floyd fight should have happened back in 2007/2008. I had no interest in seeing that version of Cotto vs Floyd.

Talk about spin. So Manny asking for a CW for 154 Cotto is a problem yet the other day you said it was fine for Canelo to come down to a 152 CW. Talk about spinning!

BTW - My point had nothing to do with what you stated. The other poster brought up Cotto and I just laughed at his remarks.

I didnt say it was fine for Canelo to be 152 I dont like CWs but by the same token they are not all equal like you want to spin , Cotto faded badly at 145 he was a strong as a bull at 154 , and now Cotto is beating MWs , Canelo also did not fade or tyre in the middle like he usual does he finished as strong in the last half as he was in the first , go and look at weight drained fighters Oscar 145 Cotto 145 Dawason 168 , LaLonde 168 ., see if you can spot the common .

Look at it all kid , the only flaw you can come up with for Floyd is Canelo , I d like to see Manny fight Canelo at 152 , or Cotto , I would actually like to see Manny fight a legit WW at 147 , he holds a WW title and wont fight anybody at WW , 5 JWs in a row now and he is looking at Jessie Vargas lol .

WTF are you talking about Cotto had just fired his uncle and was training himself and had arguably lost to Clottey going into the Manny fight; he hired Pedro Diaz (one of the best Cuban trainers ever) and was confident as he ever had been after beating Margarito.

You better stop. You are talking out of 2 sides of your mouth OR you have no clue what you are talking about. Take your pick!

For one, since moving up from 147, Cotto has yet to win one meaningful fight where his opponent was not injured before the fight even started. Look, I like Cotto and now that his training with Roach, I like his new found confidence and that Roach has Cotto realize that he needs to use or take advantage of his strong points. Still, the truth is in the pudding. I need to see it to believe it.

CW: You said, "They are not all equal." Floyd does it, it's OK for you. Manny does it, you hate it.

Again, if you were OK about Canelo doing it then why were you even laughing at Manny requesting that Cotto come down from 154 to an agreeable CW? Especially when both Floyd and Canelo had 154 titles. That should have infuriated you but again being that it was Floyd, you let that go by. Why? Don't tell me....... "Not all titles are created equal" - Reloaded

You said, Only flaw for Floyd is Canelo? ....... Do you have an hour?

You don't know what confidence is if it hit you in the face!

As Roach put it, Cotto has a confidence in him that he hasn't seen in a long time. This happened in the last 2 fights but especially after beating Martinez. BUT as I said in the other post, it doesn't mean that Cotto can now clean up the 160 division. I need facts to prove that. Until I see Cotto winning meaningful fights where the opponents are not injured, it's just words ... but I can see that Cotto is confident now and I'm happy to see that. He lost that confidence a long time ago when he lost those wars to Margarito, Manny and a close win against Clottey.

Before the Floyd fight, Cotto beat:
              - a hobbling man
              - a one-eyed man
              - a man that had more bark than bite

Cotto was supposed to beat that kind of competition but he still struggled at times. So stop it with that confidence and that you think that you know all about it. The above does NOT erase what happened in his previous wars where he lost some badly.

Am I the only one who thinks watching Mayweather box these days is underwhelming. Sure from a hardcore boxers point of view his defence is impressive, but what happened to putting on a show? I can't remember the last time I watched a match that had me at the edge of my seat. Especially the hyped up PPV ones.

                    Yes..

I just watched him get smacked from pillar to post by a B level boxer.

The famous Mayweather defence is now synonymous with ducking A level boxers.

I can just imagine what goes on off camera down at TMT gym...

"Have you seen this clip of Khan lately Floyd?"

****, hey dad, tell my dirt kickers to throw some mud on Khan, make him seem like a bad opponent for me, I don't want none of that, could get hurt!

Hey is that Pac walkin past the window? ****, quick, turn off the lights so maybe he wont see us, hide under the ring!
