I dont really see moving up in weight affecting his chances of getting big fights tbh. There are plenty of great fights at 122lb but until his promotional situation is sorted his career will stay on the fritz.

Who would you even call if you wanted to fight Rigondeaux at the moment?

Hate to say it but the guy has to take some risks or demand less money. That's the only way he gets this monkey off his back, oh yeah, be a little more entertaining in his fights too. Sitting around does nothing for him.

No problem with Rigo staying at 122 even if he's is avoided by all current and future champs in the division.

there are plenty of PEDs for that if he aint on them now

                      this right here.

rigo SHOULD go to 126. that is where the names, big money and big legacy fights are at.

rigo has the size, strength, and more importantly the skill to be at 126. this is why i dont have any remorse for fighters like rigondeaux and ward, hiding out picking and choosing who, where, and at what weight they should fight.
