Hyde is right . Even rigondeaux fighting at 122 , he always been the smaller guy , with less weight and size . Agbeko , marroquin , donaire , all weighed more than 135 while rigo was at 126 , fight night .

If they want rigo to fight at 126 , so they should be weighed in the same day of the fight , as they do in amateurs , or they should have a clause where you don't come in with more than 10 pounds , or no fight at all . This is the way it should be done .

Or a catchweight at 124 for Loma, Walters and weigh in the same day .

Rigo can still fight at 118 , 122 , his real weight class , or 126 if you don't blow up more than 10 pounds .

The problem is not Rigondeaux moving up , the problem is the fear he has imposed at super batam : santajoke , frampton , quigg , donaire , Abner mares , all good fights , but they are scared , with the exception of donaire , who had the guts to fight him once .

Hit and not be hit ; you can not hit what you don't see .

Exactly. what a waste of talent

This sucks, I understand that Rigo is a small guy but he's so dominant at 122, I really wanted to see him against better competition and 126 brings that...Now, I don't want to hear about Rigo and his team complaining about not getting fights and his career going nowhere.

Rigo is a great master but he will never be a great champion

"Weigh in the same day"! LOL! So the entire system of boxing should be changed for Rigo!

Look, when you're as dominant, and good as Rigo, you gotta go after the bigger fish sometimes. Look at Pacquiao, and Mayweather? These guys don't gain any weight after the weigh in save a pound or two... That's what greatness does - seeks out the bigigest and baddest M-****ers and take them down.

LOL @ a 4 pound budge. Featherweights rehydrate to 133-138 pounds. Salido was 147 against Lomachenko. GTFOH with that BS. You know better than that.

Don't Pac and Floyd fight guys 15-20 pounds heavier than them? *shrugs*

Pulling out the old Andre Ward excuse "This is where I belong"...yeah well good luck making splashes there by yourself because you would rather not challenge yourself.

The more I'm hearing about Rigondeaux lately, the more I think he's screwed. He's turning down good offers and his team isn't even remotely on the same page.

Don't like hearing this news. I understand he really is a naturally small guy but hes gonna have to move up and take the chance at the next weight class if he wants to become more of a star. With skills like his he deserves more recognition, and moving up and taking on those challenges is a way to do it.
