So true. He's so neglected man. Maybe he needs to praise himself more in public. Apart from the entirety of global boxing media and about 95% of the sport's fanbase, it's like nobody ever gives the man any recognition at all.

The thing is, the people that know of him - the hardcore boxing fans - dont give him the credit. Just look at the threads and posts on nsb

          Countless PED threads
All this dirty tactics talk being brought up as an excuse in case Hopkins wins
All this complaining about the Cold War and then Hopkins ends it and not one poster gives him credit for it

          Boxing fans disgust me

There's been a thread this week someone made saying Hopkins was forced to take this fight

After the fight was announced someone made a poll thread saying kova should be the A side and have his name first, and someone made a thread saying how Hopkins was frightened in the face off with kova

It's no surprise Bradley is supporting Hopkins.

I don't know what game Bradley is playing suggesting that Hopkins is his pick against Kovalev, but Bradley's pick cannot taken be seriously by any student of boxing. Hopkins not only will lose this coming Saturday, but short of dumb luck Hopkins would also have lost against Kovalev at any other stage of his career. To Sergey Kovalev Bernard Hopkins is no more than so many potatoes to be distilled into vodka.

Are you bleeding serious? Where do you so called boxing fans come from with this hate for Hopkins? A younger Hopkins would mortify Kovalev and he may still do it. You are talking about one of the greatest middleweights of all time.

one of greatest middleweights of all time vs a lhw a very good one.

How do you know. kovalevs career could be an amazing one yet, and one of the best light heavyweights that ever laced them up. on the november the 8th hes fighting a man, that any boxer in history would have trouble with. and sergey could destroy him in quick fashion. so. plz.

                      Yes, its fkng ridiculous.
But I think most of these haters are young mma boys and pseudo boxing fans who don't know or care enough for the history of the sport to respect someone like Hopkins and what he has done.
