Excellent post overall BUT we all know why Floyd hasn't lost many rounds in his career. He doesn't fight the best. PERIOD. It'd not a switch you can turn on and off as a fighter. Either you want to be great or you don't. Problem is, those fighters that seek greatness, have to take the necessary risks. This is where Floyd fails big-time, as well as other areas.

i always see this ****** excuse about tbe taking a long time off. and he's supposed to be at a disadvantage. as if it is fans' fault that he pulled fake retirements. he was young and he was sobbing when he announced retirement. he obviously didn't mean to retire. but competition was getting tough and he got scared. that was his main reason for his retirement. not because he went through a major surgery or something. and now we're supposed to give him a pass for it. he came back when everyone is out of their primes. what a joke.

Yeah. He retired when Cotto, Mosley, Clottey, Margarito and others were brutalizing each other in the ring while he was sitting pretty on his couch watching the wear and tear these guys were going through. The irony is when he makes a come back we're supposed to honor him with additional greatness for being at a "disadvantage."
