Mora isn't irrelevant, he's a top 10 MW, the only big name at MW is Cotto and we all know he's not fighting GGG so what do you want? GGG to ifght shot, fat fighters like Rubio or guys who might make it tough for him? Mora would add to the list of Macklin and Geale as legit top 10 contenders...of all his defences, GGG only has two truly worthy names on there.

Mora moves a lot, that is not a style we would see against GGG in a while. It would be nice to see how GGG handles that sort of style doe.

Mora is still a better name than some of the names on GGG résumé, another thing is GGG is staying active by fighting often (Which is a great thing) and taking on a style like Mora would benefit him in the longer run.

Mora is tricky spoiler. Could be a good test for GGG before he takes Ward fight, who is also a spoiler.

This can't be right Golovkin is the most feared man in boxing no one calls him out, as they're all terrified that he'll punch them to death with his bare hands. Even Slad is petrified of the God Golovkin.

Golovkin's about to fight his 3rd straight top 10 MW, and people are b*tching about him not fighting Sergio Mora. That's plain hating, no matter how you try to argue otherwise. Who the **** is Sergio Mora?

Did Sergio Mora just compared himself to Marvin Hagler and SRL?

Mora is tricky and pretty defensive. He's opened up more, albeit to lesser competition.

I think GGG beats him if he puts it on.... let's not pretend somebody pushing Mora around wouldn't also trouble him.

Too bad he signed with Haymon... pretty much kills all possibility of this fight. He has other MW's in the Haymon stable to fight... all depends on if Haymon will let him fight them though.
That says it right there. Mora knew not long ago, before signing his name to Haymon's contract that it would kill his chances of getting on HBO. He knows GGG is an HBO fighter. Mora did not sign that long ago and knew well beforehand the repercussions of signing. It never blind-sided him. Now he is fishing in the wrong pond.

Mora is one dull fighter, the only good thing about him getting knocked out by Golovkin is that we might finally see the back of him. Mora has been talking about Golovkin for a while now to try and stay relevant. Maybe if he actually entertained in the ring people would actually want to see him fight someone.
