    Chino's just cashing out.

His family wants him to retire, so he wants one last mega payday, nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah I'm inclined to agree. Maidana would still come out and fight his mother**king ass off, as he always has, but I think he's targeting guys based on the $$$ right now.

Is this why Prescott,Peterson and Garcia are ' avoiding ' Khan. Maidana v Khan is a big risk fight for Khan he might well drag out a decision again or he might well get blasted out as nearly was the case .As his ex trainer Freddie said 'keep him away from hitters' and that's exactly their plan not too exciting really and should he get by Alexander I am still awaiting this 'I want to fight the best in the division' ...we'll have to wait and see on that one !
I want to see Amir prove himself and not just expect, everyone's bored with that .Beating Alexander would be a good start...but with Amir's case history lets have some prospective here !

if only maidana has a belt, the pacman fight would be possible...

but how about maidana-marquez? this would be great...

maidana-broner is silly...nobody want to see broner getting whooped again...

It would answer some questions. Was Broner just overlooking Maidana that night? Or would Maidana wreck him again in a rematch? And I think Maidana almost owes him a rematch...because lets be honest, the Broner beating was the fight that pushed Maidana over the top and got him 2 (TWO!!!) PPV fights with Floyd. Hell I would f**king gladly pay full price PPV for a Maidana/Broner rematch. Dead serious. And they could throw in a few All-Access episodes while they're at it. The build up would be terrific.

maidana knows he has the upper hand on broner. no matter what happens with pac the rematch with broner will always be available.

All that **** talk and clowning on Maidana prior to the fight...only to get urinated on. It's one of Maidana's best memories as a fighter. Kinda like with Marquez's KO over Pac. I think JMM even admitted as much -- how he'd rather not give Pac a chance to redeem himself than give in to the $$$.

My other theory would be it's just about the money at this point for Maidana. He got a taste of that PPV money and now he wants the biggest names only. He's already mentioned Pacquiao AND Cotto in like literally the past 2 weeks.
please don't compare Pac to broner. Pac has never disrespected his opponents. Like a lot of Mayweather fans I'm sure marquez fans would love to see marquez calling out pac and not seem like a ducker. I'm sure some fans hate to admit that marquez is ducking his biggest payday and fifth division belt.

But I don't see it happening, at least not with fighting someone else first. I would love to see the Broner rematch personally.
Business wise pac or cotto first. A broner rematch will always have appeal. If maidanna fights broner first and looses bad for some reason there will probably be no pac or cotto fight for him.
