I guess Frankenstein's manager is still trying to fit his clients big ass block head in that boogeyman hat he was wearing lol....give it up, all the boogeymen gotta dance and mix it up with a Philly fighter...that's the way the boxing gods set it up.....Gennady Godzilla Golovkin is the only boogeyman to survive a Philly fighter....Frankenstein will join Lucas on the mantle of slain boogeymen...#itwaswritten

Reading between the lines I suspect Klimas was probably responding to a question about why Hopkins took the Kovalev fight - there's been speculation that Hopkins had seen weaknesses or vulnerabilities in Sergeis game that he could exploit and that he chose Kovalev as kinda an 'easier' option.

Secondly, despite what the article says I suspect Klimas meant that SHO weren't interested in Hopkins vs Mohammedi (understandably) - whether it was crossed wires or a misquote it's clear that Hopkins vs Stevenson was planned as a marquee fight for SHO and claiming otherwise would be idiotic (and Klimas ain't ****** whatever else he is).

And finally, yes, of course Bernard had other options - as has been pointed out. He could have fought Mohammedi off mainstrean TV... dammit - the old guy doesn't have to fight at all if he doesn't want to. BHops finances and legacy are already secure.

At this stage though, I have to give props to BHops - in a way I can kinda understand that if he's gonna choose to keep fighting he doesn't want or need to waste his time with the likes of Mohammedi. If he's gonna fight now he's doing it for his own personal sense of accomplishment and I, for one, can't really find fault with that as a boxing fan.

Here is my viewpoint on the whole thing. We have seen Kova destroying guys right and left with ease right? Once he knew that he was lined up to fight Hopkins before the Caparillo fight, he gets dropped by a light punching dude that hardly anyone in the world had ever heard of. It just so happens that Hopkins was watching him ringside. If the mere presence of Hopkins at one of his fights causes that kind of a reaction, I can only imagine what will happen to him when he is actually fighting Hopkins. The "old man" is going to dance circles and tag him with counters that he never sees.....all night long.

Yeah but he had just signed the contract and understandably had butterflies. Plus that wasn't much of a knockdown... Kov was just off balance. Clear as day in the replay. But yeah, I'd say it will just be another boring BHop grab N hold UD. SSDD

Had no choice?? What a tool...

Anyway Cant wait for this fight, win or lose for B-Hop. I just respect him and would love nothing more than to see him set an unreachable bar for future combatants of the sport.

Hops people did make an effort though. Hopkins was smarter than that and positioned himself for a big fight with Krusher. Two, Kovalev was the number one MANDATORY CHALLENGER to Hops IBF title, but he ran and dought Clevery. Oh what a short memory he has.
I Think it's best you continue posting less then the 50 posts per year that you have been posting

Showtime/Schafer/Hopkins CAMP rejected Kovalev last year. Please do some research, theres countless posts/articles and evidence on this site and others. So how about you inform yourself.

              Thanks
